One of the best video player for Android mobile phone is MX Player. No question. It has been in existence as far as no one can remember, and its intuitive layout, design, and features makes its the goto app for many Android users when it comes to video playback.
Ofcourse, there are some decent features that separate it from the crowd, such as volume booster, night mode, online streaming, and much more. Recently, the firm introduced a feature that lets users use it as an audio player. This is what I'll be sharing this morning.
MX Player is known to be a video player app for Android, but now, it can also be use as an audio player. The premium rich sound you get from the equalizer settings also apply when using it as an audio player. Under the equalizer settings you'll find bass boost and virtualizer, which enhances the output audio of music or video played.
To use MX Player as an audio player is quite simple. I'll be showing you step by step on how to go about it without tampering any functionality of your device
1. Launch MX Player
2. Tap the menu button at the upper left side of the screen (or simply swipe left)
3. Select "Local Player Settings" from the menu
4. Tap List
5. Tap Folders, then add the folder where you saved your audio files to the folder list
6. Go back to the main window, or close and launch MX Player again
7. Open menu, tap "Local Music" at the top of the list
8. All the audio files in your phone will be listed
9. Simply tap on any of the files to listen to the audio
