Bluetooth headset vs Wired headset

bluetooth headset vs wired headset

Bluetooth has taken over! It is hard to come across any wired headset at this time because manufacturers are no longer willing to shed their efforts in producing one. Bluetooth headsets have become the goto for many people, not only for the sake of its pounding bass, but because it's easier to pair with any smartphone and any gadgets that support Bluetooth.

It can be conveniently paired with a laptop, an home theater, and the likes. Unlike wired headsets with cords and wires, Bluetooth is wireless. If I'm asked which of the two I preferred, I'll say both. They both have their cons and pros. For instance, wired headset does not require any battery before it could work. It is simply plug and play.

The modern problem of Bluetooth headsets are their batteries. Once the battery gets weak, the device is no longer deemed to be useful in any way. Most times, their battery are small and tiny, which is a bit of a problem when it comes to the battery life and listening time of the said device.

May I ask, what is the importance of any battery-relying Bluetooth headset without a sufficient and an efficient battery? Those are considered junks because without good battery there is no any usefulness of such device. Wired headsets strives in this aspect because it does not rely on any battery to function. The only problem I have with some wired headsets is that the cords are not tangle-free.

You get the wire mixed-up and it will take you quite a lot of time to get them separated. In addition, some wires can be short while some can be too long. It depends on the brand, though. Some are adjustable, meaning, you can adjust the cord to your preferred length. As you can see, Bluetooth headset has its own disadvantages just as Wired headset.

If am asked personally, I'll chose a good premium wired headset over any Bluetooth headset any day. In conclusion, Bluetooth headset have its own advantages, no cords, it's easy, and you can pair it with multiple devices at once. Wired headset does not use battery and it is much easier to set up than Bluetooth headset. It depends on your preferred choice at the end of the day.
