Most Xiaomi smartphones comes with Google Contacts and Dialer app, and not Xiaomi's own Contacts app. This is a disadvantage to some of us because we all know how restricted Google can be. Since the introduction of Android 11, Google has made it a priority to make call recording a bit harder to do on Android.
As at the moment, there is no way you'll record calls that the person you are recording his voice won't know because Google will automatically notify the recipient that you are recording his voice once you press the "record" button. There are ways to bypass this in the past, but it is now getting more difficult with each Android release.
I'm using Xiaomi smartphone and to business minded folks like us, we know how important it is to get some details saved for future reference. If you are using a Xiaomi phone and you want to be able to automatically record every calls without pressing any record button, this short tutorial is for you. Simply follow the steps below:
1. Download True Phone on Google Play Store
2. Install the app
3. Launch it and set it as your default contact and dialer app
4. Go to its settings
5. Go to Incoming/Outgoing calls
6. Select "Call Recording"
7. Enable the option and exit
Anytime you make or receive phone calls, the call will be automatically recorded and saved inside your phone storage. Just look inside the "data" folder on your internal storage, you'll see another folder named "CallRecords-TP", it is inside this folder that all recordings are saved.
True Phone does not alert the recipient you are calling or the person that you call that you are recording his voice. It is the best solution yet for those that are looking for ways to auto record calls on Xiaomi phones.
