Are modded Android apps good enough?

are modded android apps good enough

Android has been around since 2009, and since its advent it has been the goto for many manufacturers that are willing to join the smartphone race. We now have several brands making use of the Android operating system for their devices. In software, it is second to none (apart from iOS, which is a different ecosystem entirely).

There are hundreds of thousands of apps available on the Play Store, which can be downloaded to use on any Android device. But some of these app are paid apps, meaning, you will have to pay before you can download them. They are paid app not without a reason though, and that is because they are more advanced and more feature-rich than their contemporaries.

Most paid apps are very useful and complex - the developer needs to charge a fee for the time well spent in developing the app. This is where modded apps come in. Modded Android apps are simply hacked paid apps that can be downloaded for free on the internet. Modded apps cannot be found on the App Store because they do everything that is contrary to the terms and conditions of Google Play Store.

Modded apps are becoming more popular these days since nearly all apps can be hacked, simply because Android is open source. But are modded apps really that good? I mean, do they entirely offer what all paid apps offer? The answer is NO. When it comes to security and privacy, you simply cannot trust modded apps.

They are built and rebuilt by men who are likely able to sell out the information they gathered through the apps they modded. Some of these apps can be malware affiliated, or ads driven in such a way that may negatively impact the device. In all honesty, modded apps are not really good. But some people simply do not care.

If I can download a paid app that has been hacked for free and it works well on my phone, that's a luck. But who knows what really goes on in the background of everything? Whether the app is stealing something that I may not be aware of behind my back. There is simply no guarantee that modded Android apps are secured. There's simply none.

In conclusion, modded Android apps may work, but they are not secured, private, and personal. They have been tampered with, so, expect thievery in the background process.
