USSD can be used to buy credit and to do a lot of other things. What you need is the right code to dial to get things done.

As a GTBank customer, I haven't purchased any call credit outdoor this year. I buy credit through my bank using USSD. The code is short and simple.
But the thing is, you must have an account with them before the code can work for you. In addition, you must dial the code on the phone number you submitted when registering for an account with them.
The code is *737*AMOUNT#
Simply replace "Amount" with the amount of call credit you want to purchase. For instance, if I want to load #1000 recharge card from my GTBank, I'll simply dial *737*1000# on my phone number I used to register for an account.
After I've dial the code, my line will be credited. Please note, you must have sufficient amount of money in your account before carrying out the transaction.
