The two most premium and powerful keyboard that are available for free are SwiftKey and Google Keyboard. They are the best and they are good at what they does. I have both on my Android phone and I cannot but accept that I prefer SwiftKey more than Google Keyboard.
Don't hear me wrong, Google Keyboard is good. But there is one little feature that SwiftKey has that it lack. The four arrow keys are must for me to fluently navigate around incase I made a mistake when typing or writing an article such as this one, which Google Keyboard lacks.
In addition, SwiftKey comes with a lot of options when it comes to theme, and there is a store specifically dedicated for it. Google Keyboard also supports theme, but it is limited and unpractical compared to that of SwiftKey. Theming is easier on SwiftKey more than on Google Keyboard.
Apart from these little disadvantages, Google Keyboard seems to be the best in what it does. Words prediction are top notch and most of its other features makes typing easier than most other keyboard out there. SwiftKey and Google Keyboard are nearly the same in other aspects apart from the aforementioned differences.
Their similarities are matching. Their keyboard can be resize, move, and the characters on each keyboard can be made to be small or bold. They both have number rows, supported accented characters, support voice typing, and each has its own search engine built into its keyboard.
Emoji are a must these days, so you'll find a tab dedicated for it on both keyboards. SwiftKey even supports emoji predictions (which Google Keyboard lacks). Auto correct works great on both keyboard, so there shouldn't be much mistake in misspelling and typo. Enough.
